Ulaanbaatar meets Stuttgart: Pianist and composer Shuteen Erdenebaatar – winner of the 2024 German Jazz Prize – is bringing her music to the stage for the first time with the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester. Classically trained, now a jazz artist, she is at home in Munich, Mongolia and on jazz stages around the world. For this collaboration, she has written ‘Between Light’ especially – a world premiere about light, transformation and the search for oneself. This is complemented by pieces from her current duo album Under the Same Stars, reimagined for piano, contrabass clarinet and string orchestra. An evening that gets under your skin.
